FOUNDER’S STORY

In 1996, at Shibuya BEAM HALL,
creative director Hiro Yokoki staged a show for his own brand raumtraum (Dream of Space), pioneering the use of octaphonic sound (8-channel audio) in fashion presentations.
While critics called the experience “avant-garde,” Yokoki himself saw it simply as a challenge born from curiosity—an early forerunner of today’s immersive experiences.

At the 2000 Sydney Olympics, his self-designed warm-up wear for the Japan Track & Field National Team was unexpectedly selected as the official uniform, and worn by athletes competing on the world stage.

Later, in the late 2010s, he collaborated with HOSA International, China’s No.1 indoor sports brand, to develop FINA-approved high-speed racing swimsuits, merging function and design to meet the demands of world-class athletes.

From the outside, these achievements might appear as “lucky breaks” or “miracles.”
For an unknown designer to be entrusted with official Olympic uniforms or to work at the cutting edge of international sportswear—it could seem impossible.

But for Yokoki, each step was the natural result of pure curiosity and the accumulation of inevitable choices.

• First, “to envelop people in sound.”

• Next, “to create clothing that carries the weight of a nation.”

• And now, “to visualize the structure of the soul.”

Today, this vision takes form as the EVΛƎ (E-V-Lambda-Ǝ) Framework, already filed for patent protection.
By modeling the dual-loop structure connecting human consciousness and action, it holds the potential to become the foundation for next-generation AI systems.
